Dating Tip | The Dating Trends You Should Never Try

Russian WomenThe best dating tip to keep in mind is that not all of today’s trends
are good to try with her.

It’s all fun and games until she loses interest, gets hurt and ultimately leaves you. Were the dating tips you’ve always followed to the letter wrong? Have the love gurus let you down? What did you miss?

Maybe the blame is actually on what you’ve brought to the table and the way you approached the relationship. Maybe you unknowingly fell for some of the dating trends we’ve listed below. These are the kind of dating trends that you should stay away from because they will only bring more harm than good in your search for true love:

  1. Love bombing is fairly known in the world of online dating. As the name suggests, it is when a person would show affection and attention in excessive amounts only to flake after the other person is already invested in what they thought is a romantic relationship. They may seem loving and totally into their partner at the beginning, but when there is already understanding and commitment, they suddenly withdraw all the effort.

Look back and ask yourself, did you bite this ugly trend? You may have done the very thing out of the fear that you won’t be with anyone and think that effort need not be retained when you are already in a relationship.

  2. The relaxed front can be considered as the opposite of love bombing — where, instead of going over, a person’s care and attention goes lower and lower. In this weird form of adult peek-a-boo, they will always outplay their partner when they show their level of investment in the relationship, by opting to go even less. In effect, the other party is made to believe that they are way more into things than their counterpart, and thus think they are being clingy and too much.

The front can happen when you only want to protect yourself from getting hurt again or simply wanting to proceed with caution. But it’s fair to remember as well that if you’re not ready to put out your heart, then maybe you’re not ready for dating yet.

  3. A lot of couples today have an unhealthy tendency of taking everything online. While it is cute to share a few photos of your date, broadcasting to the world what goes wrong in it, however, can come off as rude and calling shame to the other party. You should also avoid sharing exchanges that should strictly be between partners, such as private affairs and personal issues.

  4. A crazy trend that we commonly witness includes some toxic tests and experiments in the relationship. Like a science project, the person would put their partner through controlled situations in order to see where the latter’s priorities lay. For example, telling her you don’t mind her meeting other friends even if you actually do, or baiting her into reacting the way you prefer when you mention your previous relationships.

Full stop. These are manipulative moves that should not happen in a healthy relationship. And there isn’t really any excuse for these.

While today’s fads and crazes are meant to be entertaining, there are also those that you must not follow. Be extra vigilant when trying on new things — basic dating tips and whatnot — until you’re not sure they will do you good. Have fun and stay fun!
